CHURCH PROJECTS
Following are just a few of the projects successfully designed by ACBI Architects
Tanner Trails Trails Community Church, North Aurora, IL
This project involved the construction of a new first-phase facility of 16,130 square feet. A multi-purpose room and lobby-fellowship area overlook a nature area and detention pond. The exterior walls were constructed of precast concrete.
A combination worship center/ gym/ banquet hall has a beautiful view of an adjacent nature area.
The Cornerstone Church, Bourbonnais, IL
- A 12,538 square foot new facility including a worship center/ multi-purpose room, stage, classrooms, offices, and extensive audio-visual system
- General Contractor: Spaulding Construction Co.
Bellevue Ministry Center, Chicago, IL
- This project involved construction of a new 18,633 square foot, two-story community center, owned and operated by the adjacent Bellevue Baptist Church.
- The exterior walls are constructed of precast concrete.
- General Contractor: Staalsen Construction Co.
Korean Church of Chicago, Hoffman Estates, IL
- ACBI designed the original building in 1979, a 7,700 square foot addition of classrooms and a fellowship hall in 2000, and three additions totaling 7,600 square feet in 2005.
- Spaulding Construction Co. was the General Contractor for the latest addition.
Peace Lutheran Church, Morris, IL
- A 10,460 square foot addition with alterations to an existing facility, including a new 400-seat sanctuary, new fellowship hall, and parking lot. The former sanctuary was converted to a lobby, parlor, and nursery.
- General Contractor: Winsted Builders
The Chapel - Palatine Campus, Palatine, IL
- This project involved conversion of a 31,000 square foot former industrial facility into a church facility, shared by two congregations.
- Construction management was by Efraim Carlson & Son
Bethel Baptist Church, Mankato, MN
- A 6,630 square foot first-phase new facility consisting of a multi-purpose room and classroom/ office wing. The exterior was clad with locally quarried stone.
- General Contractor: Del's Construction Company
Shorewood Bible Church, Rolling Meadows, IL
- This project involved conversion of an existing production studio (originally built as a restaurant) into a church facility and correspondence school.
- The Church served as its own General Contractor.
Westminster Presbyterian Church, Joliet, IL
This was a fire restoration project involving the sanctuary, fellowship hall, and lobby. Integrity Restoration was the general contractor.
